My understanding is there is a difference between the Vixen and the M series
brakes. I believe the M series uses a complete TR6 front brakes, including
the upright. The Vixen uprights are not TR6, probably Herald, but visually
similar to Spitfire. (There was a string on this 6 months ago.)
Where it get wierder is my 1970 Vixen has the older, smaller uprights but
uses TR6 calipers and pads. I have to say I don't know what disks it uses. I
always thought TR6, but I could wrong. We have to allow for variances within
the Vixen range. My 1970 2500 was at the end the Vixen period, and may have
different stuff from the 1800's. I suppose you could always the disk turned
down, if it fit in every other way.
