The first step is to remove the radiator.=C2=A0 That is necessary be make r=
oom to remove the fan assembly and the access the bolt that secures the pul=
ley.=C2=A0 Once the pulley is out you then remove the timing chain cover si=
nce the oil seal is installed from the inside.=C2=A0=20

If you go to Roadster factory:=C2=A0 https://trf.zeni.net/TR6bluebook/13.ph=
p=C2=A0 you will need AF17 cover gasket and AF20 oil seal.=C2=A0 Note that =
the seal seals up against a sleeve that will come out with the pulley.=C2=
=A0 Odds are there is a groove worn into this sleeve where the seal rides.=
=C2=A0 This is from the grit that embeds itself into the seal and grinds aw=
ay at the steel sleeve.=C2=A0 The oil seal's effectiveness is dependent on =
this sleeve having a smooth surface which will no longer be there.=C2=A0 I =
suggest you replace this sleeve as well.
https://trf.zeni.net/TR6bluebook/17.php=C2=A0 AJ22.=C2=A0 The alternate is =
to buy a Speedi Sleeve(r) to present a new, smooth surface for the seal but=
the Speedi Sleeve(r) will cost more.
Assembly is the reverse of the above.=C2=A0 Pay attention to the timing cha=
in tensioner and make sure it is positioned properly.=C2=A0=20

Depending on how many miles you have on your car, how much confidence you h=
ave in your mechanic abilities and how susceptible you are to Shipwright's =
disease, you may want to replace the timing chain while you are at it.
