The foot operated headlight dimmer switch on my '65 TR4 has shot craps. The
ones offered by Moss (540-120) and others have wire connections instead of the
spade connectors as on my dead one. Foot operated ones for the early TR6 are a
different unit (Moss 542-130) and have spade connectors. Anyone have any
knowledge of using the TR6 part in lieu of TR4 part?
I would like to use the TR6 part as the three wires on my car are rather short
for cutting and stripping to connect to the replacement TR4 part and making
pigtails is not very elegant.
Thanks in advance.
