All,
In addition to the wiper arm slipping I found that the little tang on the in=
side of the arm that is supposed to clip underneath the knurled wheel of the=
wiper box is too high to actually clip under the wheel. I hope I am explain=
ing this accurately..=20
After further investigation I found that if I turn in the wipers and hold th=
e driver side wiper box, I can feel the knurled wheel skip. So I removed the=
driver side wheel box and the gear that is driven by the cable is definitel=
y worn. I would prefer to find a decent original vs. installing a new one bu=
t I may have no choice as I scrounge through my spare parts bin.
T- minus a day and a half till we leave for Watkins Glen!=20
