=A0 I agree on the helicoil. I did both bolts on the race car and it saved =
a lot of hassel at the race track when a starter failed. If putting the hel=
icoil in the engine plate I would use fine thread, for the tranny case I wo=
uld use course. The advantage of in the engine Plate, is you can remove the=
tranny without removing the starter. Any thing to make a job easier when w=
