the twin SUs and 4-2-1 Eurospec exhaust will definitely be a noticable
improvement.
Late 70's spits were de-tuned (smog regs) in the US and choked down with
the single ZS carb , somewhere around 58 hp.
Just the carbs and exhaust change puts you back to near 75HP..... and
before the cam change!
