Dave,
If anyone knows it will be Joe Alexander at ARE. I lay down a bead of RTV o=
n the pan edge; then the gasket; then a nice coat of Permatex Aviation to go=
against the block. No leaks....yet.=20

Hey all ~
Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a silicone oil pan gasket
for a TR? My TR3 could sure use one -- I'm tired of fussing with=20
hammering-out dimples and such from overtightened bolts on the
oil pan and thinking a silicone gasket might be just the ticket.
Dave
