Don=E2=80=99t do it. The triple carb setup needs LOTS of air. The =
airbox chokes them. I did that. Had to totally lean out the carbs to =
make it work. use three separate K&N filters. The slick looking triple =
carb airbox looks slick but starves the carbs of the air they need. I =
threw mine away after I spent all that time and money on it.

Subject: [TR] TR6 Question
=20
I may be pushing my luck here. Asked three questions and got three solid =
answers=E2=80=A6..so maybe one more=E2=80=A6=E2=80=A6.
=20
I am preparing my TR6 for a Goodparts Stromberg tri-carb setup. I have =
had this for years (12) and finally deciding to prep it right and =
install it.
=20
Years ago when I purchased it I remember seeing a few installations =
where the stock dual airboxes (2 or 3) were modified (cut & welded) to =
make a stock looking airbox for the tri-carb setup. I have the boxes but =
cannot locate a picture of those that made this modification.
=20
Does anyone have a photo, procedures or know someone who has this =
modification on their car?
=20
Thanks again,
Alex Manzo
