I learned a trick a long time ago. Before working on the TR3, I=E2=80=99d l=
ather up my hands with a bar of =E2=80=9Cnormal=E2=80=9D bath soap - really m=
ake a thick lather and just work it into all the creases and nail beds, etc.=
of my hands and wrists. Not rinsing it off, just keep working it into the s=
kin until it was all =E2=80=9Cabsorbed=E2=80=9Dand the hands are dry. Then w=
ork on the car as usual. The after cleanup was MUCH easier and I had no pro=
blem with dry skin. Might be worth a try.
