Don,
Looks like they may be able to be restored but 12 grand? They are
totally shot from inside and out. And I bet the engines are seized up as
well. Looks to be a total replacement of everything but the body and
frame. Even if you do it yourself it will take a lot more than 12 grand
to do just one. Are restored 3's getting upwards of 20K?
And are the younger kids interested in a total restoration?
Based on who I see at car shows and car hops, the 20 - 50 year range are
not a bit interested in the classics either US or European. They only
seem to like the small Hondas with those huge mufflers.
I wonder from time to time what will happen to my 3 Triumphs when I am
too old to drive them. At least they look nice and are in good condition.
