I'd check the coil and the condenser. Both will start to miss when they get warm when they are getting old and worn out. I had a lot of problems with the quality of condensers before I switched to electronic ignition. They would fail after a few thousand miles. Even with electronic ignition coils will wear out. I just had to replace one i the Rover.
