There are horrible TR3s being sold on BaT for high amounts. January 2018, =
$29K apple green, total rust and Bondo bucket. Another for $26K. A black =
one last week for a not as high a price, $17K. The seller of that car woul=
d not address my concerns, which may have kept the price lower. Overall, t=
his car looked decent, but the frame was welded on from front to back, the =
floors were completely covered in sheet metal over the original rusty panel=
s. Lots of filler in the lower body panels. The transmission bell housing=
had a big hole in it that was covered by a riveted on piece of sheet metal=
and rattle can paint covered dirt, grease and more rust on the suspension =
and chassis.=20
In these cases, I think bidders and buyers don't know what they are looking=
at. =20
