Hi, Paul. In terms of paper vs. steel mesh, I've done three options. One, =
I used the steel mesh original filters, but alone they don't capture enough=
dirt. I impregnated them with oil but living on a three hundred yard dirt=
/dust driveway, I just couldn't have confidence the dust was being complete=
ly filtered. Second, I added the foam surrounds for the steel mesh filters=
as some on the List have advised, but frankly they don't seem to have the =
porosity rating to capture smaller dust particles in the dusty environment =
I live in. I wound up going with the bolt on paper filters. That would be=
 these:

80 950-740 https://mossmotors.com/air-filter-classic-gold?assoc=3D49376 =
AIR FILTER, =E2=80=9CClassic Gold=E2=80=9D brand TR4A SU AUD209 $10.69
