Gentlemen & Ladies,
It was an honor for my sons and I to host the 2018 Kastner Cup at the PVGP.

I am glad everyone enjoyed it. The weather was perfect, the track seemed to
keep all the drivers occupied, and there was always a crowd under the tent.
For the presentation of the awards late Saturday afternoon all 100 chairs in
the tent were occupied, a great testament to Kas & Peggy, Joe, the WPTA gang,
and all the FoT members who have made this annual event a success.

Thanks for all who participated, the racing was great, the friendships sincere,
the history alive, the memories treasured.

This year I await the annual Tony Drews movie more than ever, since for most of
the Kastner Cup race I was able to stay his ?front view? camera. We all had a
great race.

Well done one and all. Another Kastner Cup is in the history books.

Jim

By all accounts this Cup was one of the best, but in truth they all just get
better as time goes on. The Dolan family did a great job and deserve credit for
arranging perfect weather, a safe event and a welcoming crowd. For their part
WPTA represented well and along with some Triumphs from Illinois, Ohio, Texas
and New York we were able to get 51 street Triumphs to surround the Main Tent.
There were even some inferior British iron that showed up <grin> in support of
the event. Awards were presented and 2019 at Buttonwillow in early May was
announced as next years race location. Kas and Peggy were their usual gracious
self's and Joe was all smiles.
A good time was had by all.
