Okay, I know for the past 100 years you WPTA guys head to Watkins in
September....BUT- This year there is a VRG race at PittRace also on that
weekend that I believe will be better attended by Triumphs than Watkins.
ALSO!!!!! It is a spectator event and there is no limit to crew entries.
(means free entry)
Sooooooo, there's lots of time between now and then and the actual amount of
race time for true vintage cars at the VRG/PittRace event will far exceed
the $VRA event at the Glen.
Spread the word if you would. It would be great to get a good turnout.
Donny Jeff and I will be there and I'll keep you in the loop on who else.
Registration just opened today......lots of time to make plans. Maybe WPTA
could have their tent and invite J Swauger and Sir Charlie too! I predict
much beer and grilling! We could coordinate a "Ghetto" gathering if there's
interest.
