I went with braided hoses up front purely by accident. A major supplier's
rubber hoses were out of stock and they offered a pair of the braided at no
additional cost to get me back on the road. Nice guys in PA.
I was amazed at how much firmer the pedal felt (this is with DOT5). I
still have rubber for the single line in the back which isn't all bad as in
a 'pinch' (pun intended) I can clamp off that line to deal with a rear
brake leak on the road (have had to do this twice through the years).
