Check which holes he used at the front. There are two holes on the front o=
f each seat. Proper alignment uses the forward hole on the outboard side a=
nd the rearward hole on the inboard side. Odds are the upholstery guy used=
the front holes on both sides.

I got my 1971/1972 TR6 back from the upholstery shop and noticed that the s=
eats aren=E2=80=99t level and the safety catches were inoperable (you can j=
ust tilt them forward without using the release lever).
=20
It would appear that there was a =E2=80=9Ccatch=E2=80=9D that is supposed t=
o be on the seat runner assembly that is no longer there.

Does anybody have a photo of these things installed they could share?
