I got a Gunst bearing after having=2C about three times=2C changed out the =
stock throw out bearing and tried all the different fixes for a "sticky" cl=
utch in the process. The Gunst bearing fixed the "sticky" clutch issue com=
pletely. I've never had an issue with any noise form the bearing=2C but I =
have the spring pressure set lower that the Gunst instructions suggested. =
I did all this at least 6 years ago. Take care. Bob 72' TR6

An "occasional" squeal might also be a dry pilot bearing. It will=0A=
also come and go with pedal movement. Did you grease it a "million"=0A=
years ago?

So back a million years ago when I was=0A=
rebuilding the engine on my TR4A (by the way=2C isn't it odd=0A=
that the "4" key and the "$" key are only a shift away from=0A=
each other? I think not!) anyway=2C=2C I decided to go with The=

Roadster Factory "Magic Clutch" setup which included the Gunst=0A=
throw out bearing. My Triumph has developed an occasional=0A=
squeal much like a bearing going bad. Naturally=2C I think the=0A=
worse but what experiences good or bad have you guys had using=0A=
the Gunst throwout bearing?=0A=
Secondly=2C what is the down side of=0A=
removing the spring that keeps the bearing on the clutch=0A=
fingers?=0A=
