Subject: Specs?
=20
Calling TR3 people:Had a leak in the Left inner rear seal, so I'm replacing=
both sides by taking the 6 bolts off the hub and sliding the axle/hub out.=
=C2=A0 I won't replace the outer axle seals, as they are not yet a problem =
and THAT will encompass a big job....later.Question: Where will I find rear=
axle specs for run-out (end-lash?)I have the OEM manual, I have looked onl=
ine and I still find NOTHING that definitively tells me how many thousandth=
s it should be. =C2=A0Everyone talks about making SURE to get the run-out c=
orrect...still no one seems to know what 'correct' is.
I've heard .002 - .004....on my one side I have .042.....big difference. =
=C2=A0=C2=A0
I don't want to order a boatload of shims only to find I did it wrong.
Sage advice?
Thanks,
Thom
