Are they grommets or plugs?
Mine has clear plastic plugs in the 3 (I think there are 3) holes along the
bottom side of the rear panel (sheet metal below the spare tire
compartment). As I recall, they had some embossed printing on them that
led me to believe they were original.
The holes they plugged may have been drain holes for the painting process.
