Bill,
Mine is manual (you have to pump it) and it works with Valvoline 75w-90 gear
oil. As someone else noted, it leaks a bot, but nowhere near as badly as
putting oil in a grease gun. I tried that and still have the garage floor
stains to prove it. As I said, though, what I have is similar to what is on
ebay today, I'm not sure if there are small differences that would affect
performance.
