Flamenco was a totally different color. The PPG Mix codes show this:

It was used on Spitfires at least (renamed Flemenco, code 22) ...even into
the 'squaretail' years ('70-'80)
'Cherry' though was much more common I believe though on earlier TRs (3's 4s
etc)
