[TR] Trunk Lid Support Rod

Thanks to those who emailed with offers for the trunk prop rod. Turns  
out, I have one, although it looks like it may have been run over at  
some time in its life. My TR3 is currently in storage, so I can't look  
at it. The rod I found has a very gentle off-set about 2/3 the  
distance to the hook. Isn't the rod supposed to be straight from the  
bracket at the hinge end to the hook end. Any help?
