Where's the fun in that?  It's sort of a challenge: you have the old dodge four 
by up there, trying to get the rest of that raccoon you hit out of there, so 
you have to time your pry bar motion to the rocking of the truck.

One thing to consider - when they support mobile homes -  the openings are
vertical; and on both top and bottom should be a solid piece - especially on
an uneven surface.

You can do the same thing with wood (reference Randall's email)  I have some
2x12's that I salvaged pieces and can create four stacks 8 high.     I
screwed them together so they aren't going anywhere.

Personally, concrete blocks have a certain purposeful elegance about them.
After all, if they can hold up a double-wide, how tough is a TR?

For what it's worth, I leave my jack under the car in the raised position in
a location that will not interfere on my work.  You gotta put it somewhere.
