but if you started it last week and took it out for a run, it probably
charged the battery from the generator/alternator.

I usually disconnect my
battery every winter and of course have to charge it
when I go to reconnect
for the spring. I haven't done it this year since I've
been able to use the
car, but I did need to use the starter fluid last week.
Does a battery need
to be dead before I charge it?
