Aren't we all?
The Rivnut is a convenient way of installing a threaded anchor into a panel
where access to the other side is limited or blocked (eg: a square tubing
frame member). They are installed from the bolt side of the panel and
crimped into place. These are situations where threading a nut onto the bolt
is
either very difficult or impossible.
Similar to a hollow wall anchor for home use.
