Carl,
It has been so long since I did the 3 I cant remember but on the 4 and 6, you
cannot put it all together first and then install it.
On the 4 and 6 you have to do it by sections working with the inspection covers
off to gain access to both wheel boxes. Real PITA on both 4 and 6. Messy since
everything is greased. Lots of colorful language was heard in the garage during
installation.
No measurements available sorry.
