Have been using Outlook for 15 years, to the best of my knowledge my
addresses have never been hijacked.
Rule #1, keep your security software running and up to date... I would
recommend McAfee.

Let me guess: You use the address book in Microsoft Outlook.
I don't use an address book in a mail program. Fingers crossed.
