I set the vinyl in front of the heater vent for about 5 minutes and it
stretched right onto the dash and cappings with no problems or fold marks.
My biggest headache was the leather door capping, trying to finish off the
ends without denting the flimsy chrome end caps.

Subject: [TR] Interior vinyl installation question
What is the consensus of the list about getting the wrinkles out of vinyl
before installation.
The vinyl has several 'in' and 'out' wrinkles where it was folded. I tried
letting them sit in the Florida sun/heat yesterday but it had very little
effect. Will they come out as I apply glue and stretch on the dash/cubby
door/capping pieces?
Or do I try to steam them or iron them or something else such as wetting
them down before the sun/heat?
Thank you
Carl
