I put these on the TR4 and though I have done only limited night
driving they appear to be an improvement:

Seemed a pretty good deal at $45 for a pair.
As noted, they are motorcycle headlamps though the pattern seems
well-suited to the TR (more light to the right & up).
I also added a pair of relays to take the load off the headlamp switch
but am running a stock TR4 generator.
