My daughter learned in an old Volvo P1800S, she did fine.  I would think
your TR4 is pretty rugged and as long as you are in an open area she should
be OK.  The good thing is that you are very close to the controls in a
triumph.

Hi List,
This is a petty post to the List, but here goes....My TR4A is almost
complete with its restoration.  My niece is thrilled about it.  She wants
Uncle Pat (me) to teach her how to drive it.  The child has no experience in
driving a manual tranny....I'm thinking of renting/borrowing a manual tranny
car to teach her before getting her in the TR driver's seat....Anyone have
this experience?
