Hi Bill, I'd suggest you consider some padding and a wrap with vinyl or
something like that. Most roll bars are serious head knockers, so any softening
will eventually be appreciated, especially if you're not wearing a helmet.

I am prepping my roll bar to install in the TR6. Most roll bars I have
seen are satin black. I have also seen them chromed. I have kicked around the
idea of painting it body color (Mallard Blue), interior color (new tan),
bright yellow (why not) or black and then wrapping it in bicycle bar tape or
cloth tape for the boy racer look. I have also seen some vinyl wrapped or foam
wrapped. What have others done that look cool?
