Power goes from fuse > purple wire > lamp > purple/white wire >
switch according to <http://www.advanceautowire.com/tr2506.pdf>
So, check the fuse, then check between the purple wire and ground
(bare metal) at the lamp holder. If that shows voltage (12V) check
the purple/white to ground. If you have voltage there, most likely
the problem is in the switch, which I recall is by the boot hinge.
