Thanks to a sharp eyed and scholarly reader, I must admit to a gross error an
earlier posting!
It turns out much to my chagrin that Mt. McKinley is in Alaska not California!
Of course it was Mt. Whitney that I was seeing in Lone Pine not McKinley!!
Thanks for your understanding, I must have been very tired...
