If it is of any help, here's a pic of the adjustment screws I added to my
TR3A (screws were not originally there but the holes were still there in the
box):

Did it to take up some of the slop from wear in the pedal hole. Yes, I know
the pedal box should be black... someday... maybe.
I've heard it said that the adjustable steering wheel can be moved through
the full range from 'Too Close' all the way to 'Much Too Close'.
