Ah yes, an apt description of the process. I have glued it in place but
painting contact adhesive in that little V is a real pain in the butt.
It is supposed to grip a flat edge but my car was missing the original and I
thought the aftermarket was a reproduction. It is tough when you don't know
what you don't know. The gripper one Joe describes sounds perfect for my
application.
