Dave: Seems like it could be fuel percolating in the float bowls. You might 
want to try taking it for a good warm-up ride again,and then set up an 
external floor or table fan to blow relatively cool air across the carbs for 
a few minutes and then take it for a ride again to see if you can duplicate 
the previous problem.
