When I had a similar problem I wound up yaking the fuel line loose on
the inlet side of the fuel pump, blew back through the line towards
the tank. Car ran fine until the blockage got caught up in the line.
I finally had to remove the fuel tank and took it to my local radiator
shop and had it cleaned.
Problem solved.
Of course getting the fuel tank out of the TR3A was not fun....
