Very likely the diaphragm in the fuel pump has ruptured allowing fuel to
flow into the crankcase.

P.S. are you watching the USC/OSU game?

Subject: [TR] gas in oil
Just checked my oil.
Looked real thin, smells of gas.
Carb floats are not stuck open.
Is this a fuel pump thing?
Please refresh me.
After I change the pump, I obviously need to change the oil and filter. Can
I
just refill with oil and restart?
Contact me off list since I am on digest version.
Thanks
