Phil,
I don't think the sediment is all from the coolant. Some sediment is
certainly rust, and maybe other oxidised material. Some may be from
rad sealants previously used. Some may be from minerals in tap water
when distilled water has not been mixed with the coolant for the fill.
I agree distilled water should be combined with coolant for the fill,
but tap water can also be used in the flush...I use gallons and
gallons in flushing, via my garden hose.
