>From XP on, I think, it has been able to open and save jpgs, gifs,
tiff, png, ico (icons) as well as bitmaps. Yes it is primitive, but
that makes it the preferred tool for me for some tasks. I have
Printshop Pro X (paid for and legit, I might add), a wonderful
graphics tool, but some things call out for simplicity! Or
primitivity. Or something.
