The TR6 was partially designed in Germany.
I don't think wheelbase change is needed. Take a BMW roadster platform, put in
one of those BMW twin-cam straight sixes mounted well back, finish off with a
body that resembles a TR6 and you have an instant winner. Keep the engine well
back for good mass distribution.
