Terry, back in long-ago times when I had my TR3A on the road, usually
outside, I found that a well-fitted tonneau cover kept pretty much all the
moisture
out of the cockpit. It was, in fact, much better than the reasonably
well-fitted top I had for the car (with admittedly ill-fitting aftermarket
aluminum
sidecurtains). In fact, in my poor college days, I actually stored the car
outside over one upstate NY winter with only the tonneau cover, and the inside
stayed dry and free of snow!
