The terminals should be different sizes; the large terminal gets the yellow
wire.
If your terminals are not different sizes, you have a problem. The smaller
size will not handle the output current of the generator.
Another way to identify them is with an ohmmeter. The small terminal
(yellow/green) should have a resistance of about 6 ohms to ground; the large
terminal under 1 ohm.
