The strip on the top should always be inside the window and the tab
should
get closed in the door. If the window were inside, you'd have to roll down
the window to open the door.
This is one of the problems I've had with replacement tops I've tried to
have installed on my TR6 - the strip doesn't even meet the window, much
less
overlap it.
