Ah, here it is.  According to a road test done in 1957 by Road & Track, 106
mph (average of multiple runs).  Top measured speed was 107.1 (at which
point the speedo was reading 111).  That was on a car equipped with 4.10
gears; a 3.70 might have been just a touch slower (since the engine was
slightly below it's power peak even with the 4.10).
