Thank you George. That explains why I prefer silicone over silicon. If I were 
to replace my LMA with Dot 5, do I have to replace seals? (I forgot) Also, has 
anyone used synthetic oil in a 4 cylinder TR engine. I have been using it in 
our Volvos with success especially when it gets cold out.
