You say these TR 3's originally were intended to last only seven years? Was
that number intended or did it just turn out that way?
Were American cars, at that time, built to last longer? What's the
'Planned
obsolescence' of cars built today? Here and abroad?
Rolls Royce's might be the top of the scale... let's say a '10'. Seven year's
of 'proud livability' (my term) for a TR3 might only be a '5' on this
contrived product obsolecense scale. Yet much better than today's...
