Interesting.  Are you intending this as a sleeper or just something to carry 
tents and the like?  A sleeper would have to be at least 6 ft long unless you 
do some sort of telescopic or fold-out feature to make it more compact during 
travel.  If it were just for carrying stuff it could be, would be shorter and 
lighter.
