Dave,
From what I've seen at school, and what I've worked on, I can't see
why turning it upside down would cause a problem, but I'm no
expert. What you may need to do is "bleed" the air out of the system
and the way we do that is fill the reservoir to the proper level and
then turn the steering wheel lock to lock several times, and check
the fluid level. Keep it topped up and continue the process until the
groans and all stop from the process and the fluid maintains a steady level.
There may be something different for the Honda and I bet wiser heads
on this list will come to the front.
